Woodlawn School ninth graders Quinn Schneider and Jake Johnson won first place in the state-level National History Day Competition in May for this documentary on the Rosenwald Schools, a group of more than 5,000 schools for African-Americans funded by Sears & Roebuck president Julius Rosenwald in the early 20th century.
